FAQs

Specialty & Custom Glass FAQs

Get answers to common questions about our specialty glass services.

What types of specialty glass projects do you handle?

Projects include custom tabletops, protective glass for furniture, glass shelving, and other custom glass details. If you have something different in mind, send us photos or plans so we can review the possibilities.

Can you make glass to fit my existing furniture?

Yes. We can review your table, desk, dresser, or other furniture and discuss a glass top shaped to fit. Photos and approximate dimensions are a useful starting point; final measurements or a template may be needed.

Can you work from my designer’s drawings?

Yes. Drawings, sketches, and inspiration photos help us understand the design. We coordinate project details with you and your designer or builder before finalizing the glass specifications.

Can you make custom shapes or finished edges?

Available shapes and edge treatments depend on the glass type, dimensions, and intended use. Share the look you want, including any curves or unusual corners, so we can discuss suitable options.

Can you help plan custom glass shelves?

Yes. Send the shelf location, approximate dimensions, details of any existing supports, and what you plan to display. We review the glass and support arrangement together when discussing options.

What should I send for an estimate?

Include your project location, photos or drawings, approximate dimensions if available, quantity, and intended use. For furniture tops, show the full piece and any shaped corners; for shelves, include the mounting area or supports.

How long does a custom glass project take?

Timing depends on the measurements, glass selection, fabrication requirements, and scheduling. We’ll discuss the expected timeline after reviewing your project.

We have used Seagrove Glass for the past six years and they are consistently outstanding to work with. They have delivered and installed glass tops for multiple coffee and side tables over the years and this week they installed a custom mirror and new glass shower doors for the master bathroom in our rental. As always, they showed up on time, installed the mirror and door, and left the area perfectly clean. They have a great team!

Seagrove Glass installed all the glass in my home I built in Old Seagrove back in 2002. I have used them as needed since. Just this week-11/12/2024- they installed glass in my patio door. Efficient, friendly and professional. I will continue to use them. Bob Robert W. Knapp
